Hotel Belmond das Cataratas is the only hotel located within the Iguassu National Park, with the world famous Iguassu Falls just a two minute stroll away. As the only hotel lies within the national park, guests are able to enjoy exclusive access to the falls each morning before the park opens.

Hotel Belmond das Cataratas has 193 room including 15 suites. The main building houses 52 bedrooms including 10 suites. The Garden Wing houses 64 bedrooms including 1 Junior Suite and the Forest Wing houses 77 rooms including 3 Junior Suites.
Superior Room:
The hotel has 102 Superior Rooms located throughout the property. Decorated in a Portuguese style featuring paintings of the local flora and fauna by the Brazilian artist Ludmilla de Montes. Traditional Azulejos "painted tiles", designed exclusively for Hotel das Cataratas also feature. Superior rooms located in the main building are approximately 20 square meters in size with bathrooms with twin vanity units and a bath with a shower. Rooms located in the Garden Wing are approximately 29 square meters in size. The Forest Wing rooms are distributed over three floors and are 24 square metres in size and enjoy a view of the forest. Some rooms have a balcony. Rooms in the Forest Wing feature marble topped twin vanity units in the bathroom and a shower.
Deluxe Room:
Hotel Belmond das Cataratas has 60 Deluxe Rooms located in the Garden Wing and 18 in the Forest Wing. The spacious rooms are approximately 29 square metres in size and feature twin beds and Portuguese style decor with paintings by Ludmilla de Montes, the Brazilian artist.
Located in the main building are 16 Cataratas Deluxe Rooms approximately 30 square metres in size. 7 of these rooms face the spectacular falls. To book these rooms please call us directly. These comfortable Deluxe Rooms are characterised by beautiful hardwood floors with large bathtubs, ideal for relaxing after a day walking through the National Park.
Junior Suite:
Located in the main building five of our Junior Suites measure approximately 35 square metres and feature a king size bed and a Portuguese colonial style furniture and decoration. Several of the suites also have a private balcony and views over the gardens. They also have a Junior Suite in the Garden Wing (approximately 39 square meters in size) and three in the Forest Wing which measure approximately 44 square meters.  All Junior Suites feature Portuguese style decor including bathrooms with marble twin topped vanity units and a bath with a shower. The main characteristics of this suite is a small living room with a writing desk and fantastic views of the lush tropical gardens and the forest.
Cataratas Suite:
Our Cataratas Suites are located in the main building and are approximately 94 square metres in size. The suites boast four balconies offering superb views of the spectacular surroundings. Each suite features a living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms with marble topped twin vanity units and a bath with a shower.
All above rooms are equipped with: polished wooden floors, air-conditioning, LCD TV screens/cable TV, DDD and DDI direct dial telephone,
FREE wifi internet access, mini-bar, individual safe, radio alarm clock, hairdryer & 110 volt sockets

Pool & Gardens
The Hotel Belmond das Cataratas features a large swimming pool and smaller childrens pool in the centre of the property. The hotel is surrounded by tropical gardens where delicate orchids grow.  Due to the spray from the cascading waters of the Iguassu Falls, the area is very lush and there is abundant tropical vegetation.

Dining
The Itaipu Restaurant offers a selection of both traditional Brazilian delicacies and international cuisine. Dining is available both indoors or outdoors. 24 hour room service is also offered.

Bars
The Bar Tarobá is ideal for an early evening drink which can be taken inside or on the outdoor veranda. Live music is played every evening between 20.00 and 23.00.
